Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating is an embarrassing aesthetic issue that may become debilitating with its effects as much of psychological as of social nature. TreatmentAfter the areas of hyperhidrosis have been determined, the physician will perform a few superficial injections with a very fine needle. As a result, the sweat production by the sweat glands will be blocked for 4 to 12 months.
